Service Manager
JOB OVERVIEW
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all technical service activities and customer support functions related to Group Labrie solutions ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.. This role ensures efficient service operations while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement in service quality, processes, and products.
- Manage Service Centre operations, including shop workflow and technician performance
- Oversee troubleshooting and service support for hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Lead customer support activities (field service, warranty coordination)
- Serve as a key liaison with customers, distributors, and business partners
- Support National Account fleet service efforts and collaborate with sales on account support
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and sales teams to resolve technical issues
- Oversee warranty programs, service documentation, and technical publications
- Analyze service performance data and implement improvements
- Manage, coach, and evaluate technical and support teams
- Provide technical expertise across departments
- Contribute to strategic and financial planning
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (MBA an asset)
- 5+ years of service/customer support management experience in heavy equipment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a customer-focused environment
