Customer Service Representative
JOB OVERVIEW
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as a primary point of contact for distributors regarding solid waste collection truck orders, service coordination and general support. This role supports customers throughout the lifecycle of their Labrie equipment by providing timely communication, accurate information, and exceptional service while working closely with internal teams including Service, Production, Engineering, and Sales.
- Serve as the main contact for distributor regarding truck orders
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Provide clear updates on order status, lead times, back-orders, and delivery schedules
- Resolving customer issues by coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and effective solutions
- Enter, track, and manage customer orders accurately in ERP/CRM systems (Epicor)
- Review order details for accuracy including specifications, pricing, and shipping information
- Work closely with Sales, Service, Production, and Engineering teams to support customer needs
- Communicate customer feedback and recurring issues to internal teams for continuous improvement
- Assist Sales Managers and Product Specialists with customer follow-ups and administrative support as needed
- Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation
- Follow established customer service processes and contribute to process improvements
- Support internal audits, compliance requirements, and reporting as required
PROFILE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing, heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial environments
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
- Ability to read and write French and or Spanish (asset)
- Experience in heavy-duty trucks, refuse equipment, or industrial manufacturing industries
- Familiarity with ERP (pref. Epicor)
- Experience supporting warranty or aftermarket service operations
